Record a share purchase

Steps
- Open Shares and select Record share purchase (or Buy shares on the member’s profile).
- Choose the member and enter the number of Units. The amount is calculated, e.g. “25 units × ₦1,000.00 = ₦25,000.00”.
- Choose where the money comes from: the member’s account or cash at the counter.
- Check the live limits, then select Record and confirm the review sheet.
What happens next
The share register updates immediately and the purchase appears on the member’s statement and in your share capital account.
Common problems
"This would give you 12.4% of share capital; the limit is 10%"
No member may hold more than your concentration cap. Reduce the units.
"Junior members may save but cannot hold shares"
Junior members can't buy shares until they become regular members.
